Orphanage of the Animals is a show written and performed by Karen Corbett.

Here she talks on the process of creating this work, its importance and the value of it for the stage. Having performed it a number of times and being a recipient of many awards for the show, she now looks forward to taking it to the next stage with the support of her production team.

The team at mothersmilk and I came up with some smashing ideas for trailers and Pozible launches. Go see the damn show and support independent new work here

Combine four brilliant actors, a shining light of a director and a witty piece of theatre by Neil LaBute and you get “reasons to be pretty”, the Australian Premiere at Theatreworks. Somehow, they convinced me to step into the room and I can surely say that i’s like being with a bunch of tall people in a bouncycastle. too…much….fun. You would be a munghead to miss it.

With Peta Brady (also the writer) and Wilhelmina Stracke performing under the Direction of Sue Jones, it was a joy to be a part of the work for even a small amount of time.

Best wishes to them all for the season at La Mama. Go buy a ticket!

Gabrielle New and her team explore the form of Butoh movement in a new show at Theatreworks, CREATURE. They asked me to travel along and do some video for some further promotional and grant application submissions.

I had never seen Butoh before and I was thrilled to be in the space as they worked through their final tech and dress rehearsal. It has a limited season, so check it out this week.
