Simmone Duckmanton …..it took too long.We got around to shooting these two shorts eventually. On my part, life got in the way, on her part persistence paid off.

Like always, we had never met before and by the end of the afternoon, I was very pleased that we were brought together. Enjoy the work of a very talented young gal.

Thanks to Peter Stratford and Robin Brown for coming to the party.

Joanne Booth, what a doll. We had a little fun and some sad times making these two shorts over a weekend. A little bit of trial and error on my part as well but the results are pretty good. And she seems to be stoked! Which is always a good result.

Victoria is a young female actress in Melbourne. She came all the way from the beaches of the Peninsula to put these two shorts together with Chris Palframan and Marilyn Harris.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

Getting together with some mighty fine actors, we bashed out a few shorts last weekend. Lots of fun and a gret chance to play with the camera as well. Thanks to Chris Palframan, Marilyn Harris and Joanne Trentini.

Sophia Katos is an actress and has a singing voice to boot. Thanks to Luke Mulquinney and Robin Brown for their assistance on the day.

 REEL

Tania came to me from Williams Talent needing some new work for a new reel. Results below and a big thanks to Chris Palframan and Peter Stratford for their services to the task.

Fisticuffs, bad dudes and some relationship issues are on the plate for Robin’s new showreel. First, we kicked some butt with a fight sequence choreographed by Robin and then onto drama, drama, drama!

SHORTS

Nancy got in contact. I freaked out. She wanted three shorts, one of which was a little out of my comfort zone. So we talked, and talked, emailed and emailed and finally we got to the day of shooting. And it was fliipin’ awesome. Three great shorts, all with a different flavour and feel. I commend Nancy for her work, each take going up and up, strength to strength as she tok advice from not only myself, but three other talented actors. Brett Whittingham, Marita Wilcox and Bella Merrington. Thanks to them all.

Ahhh, Julia. The girl is not only a wordsmith (in the lighter sense) but also a great actress. With the help of Joanne Sutton, Kristina Benton and Angus Keech, we set the bar at three shorts in a day. And we did it in style, and in time!

I have had the pleasure of working with Ellie a number of times. She knocks my socks of every time for such a young actress. This time around, she enlisted the help of director Peta Dermatis and actor Andrej Morgan in a short she concocted for her reel. Skip below to see some of Ellie’s other work and her showreel.
